Pledging Iota Eta Pi - Rules and Information
[image]
Any action taken or situation created as part of initiation to or continued membership in a student organization, which produces or could be expected to produce mental or physical discomfort, harm, or stress, embarrassment, harassment, or ridicule. Hazing consists of a broad range of behaviors that may place another person in danger of physical or psychological harm or activities that demonstrate disregard for another person's dignity or well-being. Even when demeaning or embarrassing behaviors do not appear overtly harmful in themselves, as where the participants appear to engage in them willingly, they may constitute hazing if they are part of an organization's initiation or membership activities and if they might cause humiliation.
Here at I-Ate-a-Pie, we call humiliation, mental and physical discomfort and stress, embarrassment, harassment, and ridicule the day-to-day life of our Pledges. Fortunately, I-Ate-a-Pie's House Mother has a close and "special" relationship with the University's Dean of Students. Thus, the persistent gossip of Iota Eta Pi's bizarre initiation requirements, sadistic hazing, and sinister ritual traditions are universally disregarded as vicious slander uttered resentfully by those who cannot meet the sorority's aristocratic standards.
1) You must obey every rule.
2) You must obey every current I-Ate-a-Pie Sister, unless her order contradicts or is countermanded by the Chapter President or the House Mother.
3) You must obey the Chapter President, unless her order contradicts or is countermanded by or the House Mother.
4) You must obey the House Mother.
5) You may not start a new thread; i.e., you may not use the "Post a new Topic" function. If your Pledge Thread satisfies us that you're worthy to eventually become our I-Ate-a-Pie Sister, then we'll close your Pledge Thread, and start your Initiation Ritual.
"A girl would do ANYTHING for a chance to pledge Iota Eta Pi."
