I find it ironic that the ex president goes to italy to give a speech on global warming ( er "climate change"..
.he write ironically considering it is almost june here in kc and 46 fucking degrees this morning!!!!!
..Obama not only went to italy but he took a private jet and a 14 car motor pool to escort him.

Hmmm I thought he was the ex pres....does he really really need that big of production?
( wouldn't jimmie joe/bubba and a few cans of natty lite in the back of a pickup be enough protection?) I mean who the hell wants to harm obama???

and the carbon footprint??? don't even get me started...seems the bigger the environmentalist, the more fossil fuels they use...
This is where I can't bash ed begley jr..at least that guy talks the talk and walks the walk.. He's a tall dude driving a small electric car..

and honestly I'm not an environmentalist... BUT I"M all in favor of the government funding batteries and getting rid of the gas powered engine.. trust me as someone that repairs cars.. I'm be more than happy to see them suckers go.

But then we have to come up with a cheap source of energy...I live in the midwest and yes there is some use of wind/solar power...but it isn't super windy here and cloudy at times...so perhaps something else to replace coal for energy???

You'd think these types would take a page out of the pope's socialist playbook.....look humble on the outside...drive a honda accord or a prius to these things...your message holds more water

I was wondering what is your favorite adult cartoon ...no I don't mean xxx cartoon.. I mean a cartoon written with an adult audience in mind.

I bring this up because OMG adult swim has taken on "samurai jack " and allowed the creator to unshackle the cartoon and be as "adult" as he desires.

and wow...it's like the cartoon has come full circle...Fuck even the evil bad guy/demon "ackoo" is funny as all hell now..he now uses a cellphone/snarky and sees a therapist

I'm a big fan of the boondocks ..love cowboy beebop....squidbillies...south park..luv black dynamite.. mike tyson's mysteries

never be afraid to try

I totally understand that people are afraid to try something....

But what is the worst that can happen? frustration/failure/humanization/looking like an idiot.

I agree with the old saying that necessity is the mother of all invention....well in my case I needed something and my ass had to learn it/try it/fix it..get it done!!!.

and in the end I usually emerge from the other side a bit tattered and bruised.. but victorious...

I am looking into learning how to mediate...

I found this funny article on the "Y a H o 0(t)" the other day. This yogi dude came over to this woman's company and was teaching them about meditation. Within a week she felt the need to "blog" about her experiences. .Yep she did it for a whole week and felt the need to share it with us.

Ironically the blogger had an asian ( first and last name) yet ya ho0(t) beauty decided to run a generic pic of a 100lbs soak wet blonde young white female in tights and a jogging bra ..in the lotus position.

( Funny every time any of the media shows someone doing yoga or meditation..it is always depicted as a very old Chinese male ( wax on wax off) or some young white woman that has like 6 percent body fat.( eat/pray/love)
( apparently blacks/asians/latinos/bbw/the handicapped/etc need not apply for these photoshoots?

And you can imagine the feedback comment...

I'm not sure if I totally believe everything about meditation and it's various alignment of the bodies energies...but I think it really can help you find some form of inner peace

weighty matters// my diet

I thought I would give a lil update on the diet.

I will preface this by saying I don't have a problem with someones' weight.. I don't fat shame people.. I have no problem with bbw or bhm etc.. (I actually find them attractive). I say be the weight you want to be and are comfortable with. Be what makes you happy..what makes you feel sexy

BUT I also feel like there are people like myself that have a "limited" weight range on their own bodies... I know that I'm not like 20 yrs old anymore.. but put x amount of weight on my body and I feel it. ( knees/back/my ability to run) I feel sluggish
I'm the type that if you put on 10lbs or lose 10 lbs it is very noticeable.

I passed the 200lbs scale mark on the regular and thought this made me feel very clumsy.
( an no I'm not trying to be one of these "size zero " people..lol...
200lbs pounds on a dude may seem very average.. it probably is a weight we normally would guess a man to be.

BUT 200lbs on me means I'm overweight and contributes to health issues like high BP.

It's sort ironic that all the talk in the media is about women's weight/body shaming/female eating disorders etc.. yet we never talk about a man's weight and how that effects him ( his emotions/his health/ his outlook on life).
It seems like society just assumes a man to be a certain weight

Yet if I said that my target weight probably should be more like 170lb...you'd all say now I'm being ridiculous or "Manorexic!!!!!!" yep we have to put the MAN extension to the word anorexia.

But I assure you that isn't the case.. I'm just eating smarter ( ALOT smarter and working out/running etc)

I'm 5'11 and it might surprise people to say that I naturally weighed 155lbs in highschool ( yep eating all sorts of crap food/soda/ate the fatty school lunches etc).
and honestly was just a couch potato back then)
.( the good ole days..lol)

I think 170lb at my age 48 would be a healthy weight..would help prevent heart attacks/strokes etc..

Right now? I'm down to like 189lb.. down from my original weight of 207

Like I said I am not bashing anyone's weight... 207 on you may be wonderful/you may be perfectly healthy and happy..

BUT on my frame..at my age...it just isn't working for me.. so I felt the need to do something about it

sexy male attire?

I was curious why there isn't sexy male attire?

It seems like the genders are working in reverse...sexy female attire usually is very revealing. or form fitting( victoria secrets/lil black dresses/bikinis/yoga pants/thongs)

Male sexy attire??? seems like the more clothed the better.( suits/board shorts/)

For example ALOT of women find a man clothed "sexier" than a man naked??? ( still don't get that one ladies. Perhaps you could explain it to me.
Why is say david beckham sexier clothed than he is naked?

I honestly wonder if it isn't some form of societal conditioning hold out going on here..
Does.a naked male always means either a threat ( someone call 911) or a male that desires sex?
is this just an american thing... seems like alot of countries in the world are cool with nudity in general.

So ALOT ( not all) ..lol but alot of women find a man in a well tailored suit or tux to be "sexy"..

To me.. hell it is akin to a woman wearing a burka...I don't find a suit "sexy". I see it as a "cover up" of the male body.

and the "sexy" effect of a male wearing a well tailored expensive suit is like giving any joe smoe a porshe to drive for a week... it will make any man more "sexy".

Go into your man's closet for a moment and see if you can find ANYTHING that screams "sexy"....chances are your gonna find boxer/boxer briefs that totally cover his dude parts/his butt/his thighs...
Your gonna find dress shirts/t shirts that totally cover his top..

But is there anything revealing? is there anything that shows off his body? Hell even his jeans are "baggy"... now compare them to your jeans ladies...which are tight on the legs/form fitting/shows off your curves

It seems to me if an article of clothing is "revealing" or tight... we want to see it on a woman.

But on a guy? NOONE wants to see that...noone wants to see a dude in yoga pants for example?

and if a guy wears yoga pants to actually do yoga ( hell do they even make them for men??) then people will assume he is a pedo/perv that is getting off showing off his goods in public. You get the same effect when a man wears a speedo at the pool.

( funny how we don't hold women to the same standard)...a woman like kim k can be literally falling out of her top ( she has done this on multiple occasions..lol) and noone sees her as a perv/noone is calling the cops. She isn't seem as a threat ( well to me she is..lol.. i fear that one of those puppies will poke my eyes out)

and then if a man does wearing something tight ( and usually it is for athletic reasons mind you" it is something like an underarmor top.

BUT even then there has to be this "athletic" vibe to the attire so he won't be seem as being OMG GAY...

Ironically anything tight on a man...anything revealing on a man...any attire like underwear that is "sexy" will be under the banner of GAY MALE...

and yes they have alot of cool stuff...just saying..lol

Male rompers ( er rompHIMS)

okay now I seen it all.....male one piece shirt/short combos for adult men ( that aren't even a fetish )...selling for 120 dollars a piece.

Hate to say it BUT
what if.... this is the male equivalent to yoga pants.. I know..mind blown!!!

.you know something you wear ( no matter how old you are or what shape your in) because it looks ( pregnant pause...wait for it.....)
good/fashionable/hip on the younger crowd...

The rompers scream euro trash /frat boy from an elitist school/ techie from seattle..or the average hipster at any starbucks

Usually with men all it takes is one "baller" .. one sports hero like steph currey to be seen wearing one of these things in public.. and then the rest of the male crowd thinks it's cool. It is the ice breaker

What if it becomes a thing in the african american community or in the rapp game?
( remember how they embraced the bib overall with just the one flap buttoned)

What if a brand like nike or under armor stepped up and came out with their own version of a romper?

What is these things are super comfy? and men decide to just wear them everywhere including the office/schools/church/hell even to walmart..

Hell with these rompers a man doesn't even have to accessorize...his top automatically matches the bottom...he doesn't even have to think about what he is gonna wear.. just slap on the ole romper and rock on....

Plus being so stylish he can wear it to the club and church all in the same weekend

Okay enough of the bs.....these rompers are exactly like yoga pants..

They are meant to have a shock value....let's face it ladies.. you wear yoga pants because you enjoy the attention you get from people staring at your ass...
yeah I said it..( and frankly it needed to be said)

and let's be honest here.. I think the guy's behind the kickstarter campaign to market these rompers to men are really going after the jayden smith ( will smith's son) fashion statement....it's unisexual... it supposed to be daring....it's supposed to make the homophobic trolls on twitter bash the garment as being OMG " sooooooooo GAY"""""

Basically is it supposed to shock/rock your notions of what is okay for the average guy to wear....note how high they made the shorts...like OMG it is almost a cardinal sin for a man to show some leg....
the average american male short is like passed the knee for some reason.. like some how if that portion isn't covered ..what...he'll show his 5 inch dick?

But just like Jayden smith... a "real man" thinks he can pull anything off.. it shouldn't matter what he is wearing/shouldn't matter what others think

The male romper ( just like yoga pants) will drawn alot of ire and attention... perhaps it is more like the dudes that wear the sagging pants.than yoga pants
..it pisses you off yet you find yourself starring at it....

Now you may say leo.. you were sorta wishy washy on this one...would you wear one?

I think it is exactly like yoga pants... the clothing really is designed for someone of a lighter build....most older men have a dad bod and any sort of belly would stick out because the top doesn't cover.. it comes straight down.
But as I'm losing the weight..I'd have to say yeah...if it wasn't so damn pricey..lol

But how is this any different than the polo shirt/short combo that charlie sheen worn on two and a half men....in this case it is just one piece....so what is the real difference..higher shorts? why is one "manly" and the other??

remaking television.. oh you sneaky netflixs

a guy at work told me that they ( netflix) is bringing back the tv show "roseanne"....YES!!!!!!!

I guess netflixs figured a cheap way to reel in the viewers is to remake popular tv shows. ( hell it works for hollywood )
.. I am told one of the networks is remaking "will and grace"...

I mean it makes logical sense...alot of the series' actors have done nothing/little with their careers after the show was canceled...they could be signed on for the cheap. Super stars of the past like roseanne barr would jump at the chance to have another prime tv gig..

soooo yeah I wondered what tv show would you like them to bring back...

NOW I believe the parameters should be that the actors actually have to be young enough to refill their past roles.. you can't have like Ed o'neil back in the AL Bundy role because he is just now too old ( and no I'm not an agesist..lol.. I just feel his current age wouldn't mess with the show)

The first tv show I've luv to see ofcourse is FIREFLY by joss wheton....hell castle is finally over with....the rest of the cast minus the preacher ( ron glass) is alive and not doing much

so what show from say the past 20 yrs would you like to see remade.

Miss America...ironically feminism doesn't equal equality?

I actually had to laugh at the notion that feminist actually give a shit what " miss america " has to say..

Weren't they the same group that condemned the pageants as being sexist.. so why should they care? I mean especially considering how closely we link trump to this particular pageant

So I was surprised by the twitter trolls that came out of the woodwork the other night. Miss America dared to be a "equalist" instead of a feminist..

LIKE OMG the way people reacted you'd think she said she was having shawn spicer's luv child or something.

AN EQUALIST???? how dare she profess an interest in equal right for both genders.. that would be like saying men and women are on equal levels... the horrors ( I know)
That would be suggesting that feminism has lost it's ways and now is nothing more than ( well I'll be nice and let you fill in the blank)
She is a women for christ's sake .. how dare she break rank!!!! How dare she have a difference of opinon

So after the ( so called public backlash..which is basically media generated ) the new Miss America felt that she had to "clarify" her statement..

which is odd ... isn't feminism for equality?...apparently this strong/young/gifted/beautiful woman didn't think so. Makes you wonder how many other women feel this way

Even odder is the bullying of this woman for daring to have a difference of opinion..
The backlash was so bad that she had to "clarify " what she meant??? huh...
all she said was she was for equality !!!!!....
I thought the crux of feminism was women supporting one another/helping each other out.

well apparently not if you have an opposing view....

do you think the male image will change?

quick question....in say 20-50 yrs do you think the male image will change?

It seems in this day and age we have the image of "wonder woman".. a girl literally can do anything she wants/she can be anything she wants/ there shouldn't be any " boys only stuff"...she can be a girly girl or as masculine as she desires

yet where does this leave males? there still seems to be this societal barrier than keeps us firmly in "boyland". If a guy is feminine then he is considered a beta/gay/perhaps transgendered/confused? etc. A male is viewed as " odd " is he is feminine ( no offense to any member here.. I mean this in a societal way.

I ask because of this article about this young dude that does make up tutorials online...

ofcourse the female commentators were all in favor of this guy/gave him encouragement to pursue his dreams Funny how they all saw this as a "career" instead of a dude that just likes to wear makeup..
It's like they were being pc yet still not embracing his choice to wear makeup..

The male commentators ofcourse were assclowns and put this guy down..

so it made me wonder when is society gonna wake up and accept males that wish to engage in traditional feminine things?

It's almost like society still wants to put men in boxes so they can label them...yet allow women to freely express themselves as they like..

Just curious if you see any change on the horizon...and are you comfortable with giving a man this sorta freedom...would you embrace a male change?
