Underwear frustrates me. Boxers....feel loose and bunched..when in pants. Just walking around the house is fine. Jockey type kind of pinch and bind. Thongs annoy me. ( girlfriends have bought them in the past for me because they like the look), they now have these sort of semi long leg ones..which look a bit like yours coming down the thigh but they get too warm in the non winter months. They are now advertising these keep "cool" one that I have not tried. Men do not get as many options as women. If it were not for these dangly parts I have, I might try some women's kind for the hell of it to see if they are more comfortable; but they are obviously not designed for dangly parts.

I have tried some, but found them too hot as mentioned, except in the winters. But then on really cold days, I wear long johns, which are actually comfortable. Looser knit. Generally worn over other underwear. I think I will try some o f these that having the "cooling" fabric in them.

Ya know what I dislike more than anything in the men's underwear they are now producing; the bands......all these oversized extra strength ones. Years ago. before we started using front load washer in this country, they made men's underwear in a manner that the agitators in the washers would break & stretch the bands (learned this in a sales seminar from a Jockey rep). Also. the cloth was attached to the bands poorly so they would separate, thus creating more sales) Now the band don't stretch and they irritate my skin. At this rate, I will be going commando in the summers.

Heat does affect the band on underwear. At least older types. But I mostly do not use much heat. Less heat the better for fabric. You get less lint that way too. And I never ever use fabric softener. It coast cloths and it irritates my skin. Dryer sheets also coat the sensors in dryers and people over-dry cloths Dryer sheets are the main reason why dryer needs service.
