Shaun of the Dead for overall brilliance. My favorite scene is the zombie Mary battle sequence. ( Bonus points for the quantity and quality of extra features on the DVD . ) For sheer gore / horrific special effects appeal I prefer the Italian zombie flicks produced during the 1970s and 1980s. I remember now.

Night of the Living Dead was filmed in my hometown and driving thru that area at night was just too creepy.

I'd go with the consensus and pick Shaun of the dead ... After watching not quite the whole movie, 28 days later, I wanted to drive a stake through my head. It was god-awful.... in this gals' opinion... ― William Goldman, The Princess Bride

Yes it's not the best executed zombie film but i liked the story of the east end old timers villians fighting zombies ! And i picked Shaun because i've watched it a zillion times and you didn't have my other favouite on the list, Dawn of The Dead Life So Short, The Craft So Long To Learn

Normally, I do not like the flims of zombies, too many improbabilities but shaun of the dead is fantastic, with two major players underestimated by the film industry. Although, little by little, the reputation of simon pegg grows

Got to admit I usually enjoy most zombie flicks, but I do have a preference for those with a comic bent. So Shaun and to a certain extent Zombieland rate well with me. Put quite simply my only problem with a zombie apocalypse is hiding my glee when it starts! "Before I can live with other folks I've got to live with myself. The one thing that doesn't abide by majority rule is a person's conscience."--Atticus Finch

I am not a fan of zombie movies, or 99℅ of the horror movies out there.

Wow.....no one said anything about the wonderful Brad Pitts snoozefest, no, not any of his marriages, but World War Z. I think I had seen it before anyway, but it was called "Outbreak" with Tootsie star Dustin Halfman.....But there were a couple remakes in the 80s called "Return of the Living Dead" and maybe "Night of the Living Dead" that was sorta played for laffs, and had the same actors in both. Nearly the same basic plot too. Maybe Hollywood needs to remake "Snakes on a Plane" but withy Zombies., Oh wait....Bradly covered that one for us.....
