Fat dogs need to go a diet

I think we've all been to the vet and told that our pets are overweight. Kinda ironic how vets enjoy playing that card and treating you like your the villian.

Anyway i decide to say fuck the cost and am gonna buy the dogs some weight management food.
My problem is the dogs arent big fans of dry food.
It will literally sit for days without being touched.

So i figured id just stroll in the local petwhatever store and get some diet wet food.

And you'd think i dickslapped the pope by the employees reaction. They have over 20 plus brands, but only 1 fucking can of weight management wet food???

So i figured the higher cost all natural brands are just as good..hell this can has a wolf eating a salmon in a stream. Now that has to be healthy right???
Then i looked at the calorie content on the label..holy fuck..its like the is really eating a big mac meal!!!! Over 1200 calories!!!

I bought two cans of the science diet perfect weight just to get out of there and get home. Hopefully the dogs will eat it.

The employee at petco said the store does have a 60 day return policy if the doesnt like the brand.

I may take the store up on the offer..my dogs are pickier than most 9 yr old girls...i have a feeling that i could easily go through 10 brands of dry food before i found one they would touch.

Its a good policy because each 5lb bag is 15 bucks and up++++.....

I think dogs become overweight for a variety of reasons...mine sleep ALOT....but i really didnt realize how fatty the average can of food is.

I think a good rule of thumb is to buy a brand that actually gives you a list of ingredients and the percentages of proteins, carbs and fats.

I did some research and i guess Rachel ray has some healthy food...funny thing is neither pet store carried it
