The real problem with the nfl

So okay perhaps you read jerry jones ( owner) of the cowboys flip flopped and now claims he is against players kneeling. Then he went into a players only meeting( no reporters etc...and said that was all a lie..he supports the players and just said he was against the protest to take the pressure off the players..to be the heavy\ bad guy.

Now one player came out and said ' he,s quitting if the league forces him to stand. The nfl is meeting next week on this very issue.

So there you have it in a nutshell. It's players\ their union vs the fans.
Without players you have no game....without the fans though?...those sweet tv revenue quickly dries up.

But the leagues ace up their sleeve is the fact that noone cares about you\ your cause if your not playing the game. There is a huge reason kap isnt on a team...he would return to protesting...the same way marshon lynch returned to the league( after early retirement) and continues to be a complete asshole.

Without the spotlight noone cares..and god forbid you lose a step or two...then noone really cares...like kap or adrian peterson etc.

I find it funny how people bitch that these players have rights..are allowed to to protest etc..yet they get fined for the stupidist of league rules like wearing different cleats...yep the league fined players for wearing patriotic cleats to honor 9\11. If your socks are too high...your fined...if your wearing a different brand of shoe..your fined...if your wearing a sticker on your helmet that isnt league approved...your fined.

And yes before the replies roll in... Im not siding with a bunch if old white men in hopes of controlling the black players..😘
I honestly dont care if they protest...id just prefer the don't do it during the nat an. An easy compromise would allow the players to wear t shirts duribg pre and post game interviews...sorta like the nva\ wnba does...

can we all agree most of the players have done nothing except protest.....

Hell it seems like the nfl has to reach out to the players and ask them how they would like to make this change...i mean its pretty bad when the media has to explain what the protest is really about and then the players have no idea of what to do next.

And hopefully this blog doesnt make it seem like i dont care or dont want change. But can we have a real conversation on the matter. A lot of players suddenly become social justice warriors because some big company like nike told them.. this isnt about change..its about growing their brand beyond the sport they play.
Marcus peters is a prime example...when asked about change...he had no clue..he had no next step. For some players this is about them and exerting their control over a team. I really doubt marcus would be kneeling if he wasva back up player.
