do you think the male image will change? quick question....in say 20-50 yrs do you think the male image will change? It seems in this day and age we have the image of "wonder woman".. a girl literally can do anything she wants/she can be anything she wants/ there shouldn't be any " boys only stuff"...she can be a girly girl or as masculine as she desires yet where does this leave males? there still seems to be this societal barrier than keeps us firmly in "boyland". If a guy is feminine then he is considered a beta/gay/perhaps transgendered/confused? etc. A male is viewed as " odd " is he is feminine ( no offense to any member here.. I mean this in a societal way. I ask because of this article about this young dude that does make up tutorials online... ofcourse the female commentators were all in favor of this guy/gave him encouragement to pursue his dreams Funny how they all saw this as a "career" instead of a dude that just likes to wear makeup.. It's like they were being pc yet still not embracing his choice to wear makeup.. The male commentators ofcourse were assclowns and put this guy down.. so it made me wonder when is society gonna wake up and accept males that wish to engage in traditional feminine things? It's almost like society still wants to put men in boxes so they can label them...yet allow women to freely express themselves as they like.. Just curious if you see any change on the horizon...and are you comfortable with giving a man this sorta freedom...would you embrace a male change? |
