Speaking as a sub, i prefer to receive direction in most matters, especially in how i dress. i don't ever go into something blind and hoping for the best. I also think "As instructed" should be an option here. What your also missing in the question is the actual HOW, aside from what you wear or not wear. Should a master be greeted with his or her slave up on their knees, or should they be on their knees, bent over with their face against the floor ass high? Should they be expected to kneel by the door, remaining motionless and quiet till their master acknowledges them? or should they instead be ready to bring their master his or her drink once they walk in the door, and only then strip and present themselves? I think this question has as vary variations as there are styles of domination. In my household, it also depends on the slave's traning level. A new slave, or one that has not behaved, is expected to be naked, kneeling, ass high. A slave who has earned such a right, may only be expected to stand quietly by the door as Ienter, to greet me and welcome me home. Some master consider a slave ever being dressed in the home as a waste, while others consider clothing (or any kind) a reward. It can also depend on what drives the slave. Some slaves need the "Naked at all times" as a constant reminder that they are in fact the slave.

PERIOD! Careful. Depending on the relationship, and care level of the master, the slave may be expected to obey without question. The point your missing here is trust. If a slave trusts their master, their obedience should be without question. Now, where you have a point here is when that trust is or is not deserved. A master who demands total obedience, but abuses that obedience, has no business in the lifestyle. With complete ownership of a slave, comes a level of responsibility for that slave. If your going to demand you slave stop thinking for them self in any way, then you, as master, better be prepared to do all the thinking needed, including being in touch enough with your slave to know when emotional states are fragile, or even simple things like knees are too sore to kneel. If your going to insist on total obedience without question, then you damn better be worthy and respect of what your taking control of. The "Wanna be" doms I think your speaking of here (and please, correct me if you don't agree) all too often think that a slaves serves them, and they have little or no responsibility to the slave in return. I've long said that anyone who thinks being a dom means getting a BJ on command, is missing so much of what owning a slave means.

I see that most of your responses have been from subs. So here comes another, from a sub trying to learn. This will merely be a personal opinion and any responses to it appreciated. Hoping the writer doesn't mind.... As an aspiring "Great Sub" I feel I should first and foremost dress as my Master would instruct. If not instructed.. I would simply ask if there was anything special that I could wear, or do to please him upon our meeting. Being so presumptuous as to take it upon myself to wear what "I thought" may be pleasing.. that's a little too risky for my taste. On second hand, I'm thinking naked would be a better choice, and more appropriate if not discussed at all... Before I serve anyone I hope that I would know them well enough to lean in the direction that they would prefer their sub to be dressed upon arrival. p.s. Missfintress I totally agree with you. They must not have a clue.
